Student Computer Science
Hi, I'm Philip Goto and I'm currently studying Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam. I like to create software that is fast, efficient, user friendly and looks nice. My qualities are programming in any language you could imagine, and designing meaningful icons or other images.
During my study and even before that, I've gained experience with several programming languages. Next to well-known languages like Java, Python, PHP and C#, I also know many other languages. They all have their advantages and disadvantages, but my favorite languages right now are Python and Go. Because of my experience with this much languages, I can get into other languages I don't know yet quite easily.
All programming languages I've worked with can be shown by expanding this card.
The declarative or 'logical' languages I worked with are: Haskell and SWI-Prolog. Although they work good, I personally don't use them that much. Mostly because of their specific and somewhat limited functionality.
Of course, most programs need a graphical user interface. I have experience with the languages CSS, HTML, QML and XML that can be used for this purpose.
And even more
I like discovering and learning new efficient programming languages. Recently, I discovered two languages called Rust and Julia. Those two languages are both focused on parallelism and seem to be quite useful. That's why I'm learning them right now.
I also like designing icons or other images. Those are mostly made for friends at the moment. Everything I made can be viewed by expanding this card.
Mato is a Material Design inspired icon theme for Linux. It features simple and modern icons based on the official icons.

via is the Study Association of 3 computer related studies on the University of Amsterdam, including Computer Science. Recently they were looking for a new logo and I was asked if I could try to make one.
Omnescio is a startup company of a friend of mine creating sites an easy way. As of 24 july 2016, the site is not yet fully functional.
